Call for Proposals (CFP) at UN Women November, 2022
The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) Tanzania is pleased to announce a Call for Proposals to secure partnership with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) with a track record in human and women’s rights and gender equality, community, and grassroots sensitization especially through various community engagements approaches to promoting rural women and girls’ agency and voices at the local levels to accelerate rural women’s economic empowerment at the Chamwino District, Dodoma Regionand Ikungi District, Singida Region inTanzania Mainland respectively.
The organizations applying for the Call for Proposals should have a base and previous experience in implementing projects in the respective regions or have a plan to expand its projects to respective districts in the regions, building on learnings of similar projects including collaborationswith local government authorities, women rights-based organization, male champions, and networks that promote rural women’s economic empowerment.

All proposals MUST be submitted through email cfp.tanzania@unwomen.org with subject line REF: CFP No. UNW-ESA-TZA-CFP-2022-005 for Dodoma Region and REF: CFP No. UNW-ESA-TZA-CFP-2022-006 for Singida Region respectively.
Only those short listed will be contacted for further screening and consideration.
Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered.
